We invite you to the Rwanda Incredible Gorilla Trekking Mid Tour. You will visit Volcanoes National Park for gorilla trekking. The unique opportunity to see gorillas in their natural habitat is unforgettable, some even say life-changing. You will also visit the Genocide Memorial Site and have a city tour. The community cultural village to enjoy the Rwandan culture including the traditional dance. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy the true African experience.
Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival In Rwanda | City Tour | Genocide Memorial Visit | Visit The Dian Fossey Center
On your arrival in Rwanda in the morning hours, you will be picked up by our Kubwa Five Safaris representative with your name printed on an A4 paper from Kigali International Airport and transferred for a city tour, visiting the Genocide Memorial Site, which gives a brief history of the country you are visiting.
Thereafter, you will be driven to Musanze, where you will visit the Dian Fossey Center.
You will relax in evening and generally take it easy to allow yourself to both process and recover from all of the excitement that you’ve enjoyed on your safari so far.
Dinner and overnight at Classic Resort Lodge.
Day 2 : Gorilla Trekking In Volcanoes National Park | Cultural Interaction
After breakfast, you will assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing in the morning together with your trekking gear and drinking water and ascend in the forest to trek the gorillas. Volcanoes National Park is known for its ultimate primate safaris, where tourists will get to see a number of primate species.
There are twelve gorilla families living in Volcanoes National Park that are fully habituated, with a few others habituated solely for scientific research. The groups, or troops, consist of at least one silverback along with several females and youngsters.
In the evening you will visit the Iby’lwacu Cultural center to enjoy the Rwandan culture including the traditional dance.
Dinner and overnight at Classic Resort Lodge.
Day 3 : Drive Back To Kigali | Local Market Tour | Flight Back Home
After breakfast, you will be driven on back to Kigali, on your arrival to Kigali, you will visit the local market.
After lunch, you will be transferred to Kigali for your evening/night scheduled flight back home.
